I HAD A NICE experience IN WORKING WITH FINAL CUT PRO FOR THE SIX WORD STORY PROJECT AND IT WAS REALLY ENJOYABLE IN EDITING AND RECORDING SHOTS. BY THIS PROJECT I GOT TO UNDERSTAND HOW ACTUAL MOVIES AND ACTORS AND ACTRESSES WORK HARD TO GET THE MOVIE SUCCESSFUL. BY THIS PROJECT I GOT TO BE CREATIVE WITH DIFFERENT EXTRAORDINARY IDEAS WHICH MADE GIVE A NICE VIDEO. MY VIDEO IS ABOUT "KEEP CALM AND HAVE FUN ENOUGH", THE REASON WHY I CHOSE THIS WAS BECAUSE USUALLY I MAKE FUNNY AND ENTERTAINING VIDEOS AND THIS SIX WORD STORY GAVE ME A FEELING THAT IT WOULD BE GOOD IF I MAKE THAT SIX WORD STORY IN MY VIDEO. THE FIRST I TOOK WAS A MEDIUM SHOT, CLOSE-UP SHOT, MEDIUM SHOT, WIDE SHOT, BIRD EYE VIEW.
THE REASON WHY I CHOSE THESE SHOTS IS BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE THEM AND THE WAY IT IS SHOT. I LEARNT THESE SHOTS AND PRACTICED THEM IN MR.GOBLE'S BOOK ABOUT WIDE, MEDIUM, AND TIGHT SHOTS. IN THIS UNIT, I LEARNT TYPE OF SHOTS, HOW TO EDIT IN FINAL CUT PRO, AND RECORD VIDEOS IN A REAL CAMERA WITH IRIS, FOCUS AND WHITE BALANCE SETTINGS. ALL OVER, I ENJOYED THIS UNIT AND IT WAS A NICE EXPERIENCE.

We Were asked to make an research about Ernest Hemingway of what he was famous and what brought him in websites for his inventions - the six word story. I found this website called the Six Word Stories which gave me an idea of how to create an six word story and brainstorm them. It was enjoyable to research and create six words story.
The past two weeks, we had learned to shoot shots from a professional camera. We learned how set the iris before taking shots and also learned how to white balance the camera to change the shot color. I learned three type of shots: Wide, Medium, Tight shots. DURING THESE WEEKS I WATCHED A FORTY-FIVE MINUTE DOCUMENTARY ABOUT TAKING SHOTS AND LEARNED A LOT OF TECHNIQUES LIKE ALWAYS USING HEADPHONES, TRIPODS, FULLY-CHARGED CAMERA BATTERIES AND A SD-CARD OR ANY OTHER DISK TO SAVE YOUR SHOTS AND MORE. AFTER WE LEARN'T SHOOTING SHOTS, WE STARTED TO MAKE SHOTS WITH A PARTNER IN THE CAFETERIA. WITH THOSE SHOTS, WE EDITED THEM USING FINAL CUT PRO X (AN APPLE SOFTWARE) WHICH WAS A LITTLE COMPLICATED BUT WAS FUN. WHEN I ALWAYS EDIT A MOVIE I FIND DIFFICULTIES IN CUTTING OUT OR SKIPPING SHOTS, BUT WITH FINAL CUT'S BLADE IT WAS EASIER FOR ME TO CUT OUT SHOTS OR SKIPPING SCENE. OVERALL THE MOST INTERESTING PART OF FINAL CUT PRO WAS THE TRANSITIONS WHICH MADE ME FEEL CREATIVE.
TV studio blog entry #2 - The next day, after having a glance over the studio, I was partnered with another student of my same grade and started practicing in the studio. At first, we started in the cg which wasn't that interesting to me and as we went further we reached the floor directory it was getting more interesting. I loved the way the director and the floor director give commands to each other. All over I had a nice experience in the studio.
iMovie Experience:
I had a wonderful experience in working with the iMovie software for a project. I was asked to do a project about myself as a trailer in iMovie with all family and friends photos and selfies and some short video of me doing something special. All over, It Was a nice experience and a nice exposure to me. TV studio blog entry #1 - First look of the broadcast technology studio As I first looked at the studio I was excited in working in It. But before that, I never knew where to start, later I was taught of how to work on them by MR. goble and Mrs.Davidson. |
